South Brunswick, NJ

Work Completed: Here our client was looking to replace their existing asphalt driveway while also adding some curb appeal to their home. After going over some options, we decided a new driveway with two beautiful paver stone aprons along with a paver stone border will achieve our goal. After excavating out the old asphalt driveway, we made room for a stone base and sand then installed two Cambridge Paver Stone circle kits at the top and bottom of the driveway followed by the paver stone border. Finally, we re paved the entire area leaving the homeowner with a beautiful new driveway that will last for years to come.

Bound Brook, NJ

Work Completed: Many townships have strict restrictions on the amount of property you are allowed to cover with driveways, walkways and patios, these rules are referred to as coverage. These areas are called impermeable areas meaning water cannot run through the surface. At this home in Bound Brook, their previous driveway was causing them to be over their allowed coverage. The solution was to install permeable paver stones in the parking area behind the home where it was previously asphalt. These paver stones are designed like a grid that allow grass to grow between the voids creating a beautiful natural look that it still functional as a driveway. These paver stones were installed with a walkway to the backyard and a new matching walkway to the front door as well. The driveway was re graded and paved with asphalt to finish up this project.

Work Completed: The homeowners of this beautiful home were ready to add some curb appeal to their house. Needing to replace their driveway, they decided to go with paver stones rather than asphalt. They chose a design and colors and the job was underway. Installing a paver stone driveway is much more involved than an asphalt driveway. The stone base must be thicker since the paver stones are individual pieces, this helps water drain well below the paver stones preventing them from being disturbed during winter freezes. Each paver stone is laid by hand and all paver stones along the borders must be cut individually to fit inside the driveway area. We also replaced the front walkway and steps with matching pavers and stepping blocks.

Work Completed: The salt from winter had destroyed these 2 handicapped parking spaces made up of paver stones. The owner of the building was concerned about the cosmetics of the entrance if it were to be replaced with asphalt. We suggested replacing the entire area using concrete and adding a paver stone border to give it some style. We also replaced the front walkway with brand new paver stones to match the new border.

North Brunswick, NJ

Work Completed: The owner of this restaurant purchased to vacant lot next door to create more parking for their business. The first step was to establish grades with a curb mark out then excavate for the curb footings. After installing the belgian block curbing, we began cutting down the grade where the new parking lot and walkways will be. After reaching our goal depth, we installed the stone base in both the parking lot and sidewalk areas. All concrete installation was finished first in all the walkways then the base course of asphalt was installed followed by a top course. The parking lot was striped, decorative stone installed and arbors planted to complete this brand new parking lot.

Piscataway, NJ

Work Completed: While outgrowing their warehouse, these owners decided the best decision was to add 3 new truck loading docks. After the building was built, we excavated out the soil to install the concrete pads in front of the bays. We installed clean stone followed by 8" thick reinforced concrete, new curbing, drainage and retaining walls.

Dayton, NJ

Work Completed: Working around the schedule of a busy trucking warehouse, we excavated out roughly 10,000 square feet of damaged asphalt down to the stone base. Strengthened the stone base, installed 4" base courses and 2" top coat patches on all areas.

Piscataway, NJ

Work Completed: This is a standard driveway replacement. We start off by removing the existing asphalt while taking note of the more damaged areas. After the asphalt is removed, we inspect the stone base in the areas where the previous driveway had more damage. We then added stone to the existing stone base, regraded the entire driveway to ensure consistency in the thickness of asphalt as well as slope for water to properly drain. The final step was to pave the driveway using 3" of i-5 asphalt and compacting it to create a strong smooth finish.

Raritan, NJ

Work Completed: On this road repair, the owner wanted to tend to the most severe areas without having to replace more than necessary. We saw cut over 4,000' of concrete and began crushing the sections up using a machine operated jack hammer. We then removed the concrete and re poured new concrete which included fiber and wire mats to reinforce the new sections.

Bridgewater, NJ

Work Completed: The existing driveway was made up of concrete, stone and asphalt. The homeowner  recognized it needed to be replaced but also wanted to add some curb appeal to their home at the same time. We suggested using paver stone accents like an apron in front of the garage as well as a border to make their new driveway pop. After removal of the existing materials, we began grading and stoning the driveway base. Next we installed the paver stone apron in front of the garage and tied it into the front entrance as well. The border was then installed around the perimeter of the driveway followed by asphalt.

Hillsborough, NJ

Work Completed: This homeowner just built their dream home in Hillsborough. Unfortunately, they had strict restrictions on how big they could make their driveway due to coverage laws. After giving us the allowed squared footage, we design the driveway to have angled belgian block rather than horizontal. We did this because with the restricted space and width, the angled block is more forgiving if you were to rub against it. This eliminates damaging your cars wheels or nocking any blocks loose. After the block was installed we finished up with pavement the next day.
